I Wasn't Expecting THAT!

7 weeks from booking to travel

Here I go again - this time a somewhat unexpected chance to travel.
After a few months of super-stressful budget time at work, I decided I really need a vacation. No idea where I wanted to go or do, I turned to a recommended travel company. Yup a travel company - I wasn't expecting that.
Intrepid Travel is the company I chose to look at - they specialise in small group tours. No more than 12 people. Local people as guides. Sounded promising.
As I explored their site, I discovered FOOD TOURS! There are tours to Europe, South-East Asia, India and Morocco! A Real Food Adventure, Morocco - that's the tour I've chosen. It'll be 9 nights/10 days beginning in Casablanca, travelling to Fes, the High Atlas Mountains, Essaouira and ending in Marrakech. Markets, spices, leather crafts, and food of course. Tajines, couscous, dates, harira, mint tea and even camel burgers!
WOW! off on an adventure.
Now here's a cool bit too. Hubby is going on his Mexican resort trip again and i was totally cool with doing this trip on my own. But 3 weeks ago I went up to Acton to visit a friend. When I told her about this tour, she started thinking & wondering...the next day she booked the tour too! I wasn't expecting that - SWEET!

Maxine & I are excited to get this trip underway - let the journey begin!
